Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon

The work of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters, which began in Buckhannon in 1921 with the formation of St. Joseph’s Hospital, continues through the work of the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon, West Virginia. The Sisters, through their sponsorship of the Foundation, will continue their legacy of care and outreach to the community they have served for so long and with such dedication for many years to come.

Established in 2015, the vision of the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon states that communities in Buckhannon, West Virginia and surrounding areas will maintain healthy lives – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is the mission of the Foundation to support initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and transformative change in the community. The Foundation has established three major areas of focus and are listed under Core Priorities. Broader areas of focus for the Foundation are listed under Healthy Communities.

2021 - 2022 Grant Cycle

The Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon WV (PFB) wants to partner with nonprofit organizations who have the potential to inspire healthier choices for the communities of Barbour, Lewis, Randolph, Upshur, and Webster counties. If you believe your organization possesses the passion, determination, and innovative programs that will make a difference in our community, we invite you to review Apply for Grants for more information on eligibility Criteria and our Healthy Communities Initiative.

Submission deadlines for the 2021 - 2022 grant cycles are:

     Request for Proposal Issued January 15, 2021
     Application Submission Deadline February 15, 2021
     Award Notification and Contract Issuance March 19 - 31, 2021
     Grant Performance Period April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022
