The Wellness Collaborative Healthy Home Program provides services to low-income, senior renters to help address chronic disease management with the goal of minimizing falls, nutritional risks, lowering Medicaid costs, reducing hospital visits, and enabling seniors to remain in their homes.
The West Virginia Wisdom Tooth Project provides dental care education, tailored treatment plans, dental hygeine products, and oral cancer screenings for the senior population at senior centers and congregate meal sites.
Annual community baby shower, family and senior population educational nights, sharing information on childhood immunizations, dangers of smoking & drug use, parenting skills, healthy eating, and exercise.
Healthy Ways = Healthy Days Program: Six-week series of classes that will cover food safety, sanitation practices, food preservation, healthy food choices, shopping, and healthy food preparation, with a special focus on healthy choices for diabetics.
Rethink Your Drink County School Program will educate county grade school children at a series of Health Fairs and 4-H clubs on the importance of the elimination of sugared drinks and the replacement of healthy drink options.
Victims Services Fund to assist adult, teen, and child victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking with personal items, transportation, medical needs, relocation services, and support services.
