Spiritual care recognizes and responds to the needs of the human spirit when faced with trauma, ill health, or sadness. There have been numerous studies over the past 50 years indicating that people’s health and well-being benefit when their needs are addressed. – National Education for Scotland; University of Maryland Medical Center
The Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon is committed to programs and services that support the religious, spiritual, emotional, and pastoral needs of the community as they work to restore and renew the lives of the clients they serve.
During times of significant challenge, it is often the simplest act of kindness that has the greatest impact on a person’s life. Caring support during times of crisis can provide a lifeline to those struggling with life-altering events like the loss of a loved one, a difficult diagnosis, or unexpected unemployment.
Our Foundation supports spiritual and pastoral care programs that address a wide range of topics including, but not limited to:
- Hospice and Palliative Care Programs
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services
- Senior Adult Care and Services
- Bereavement and Grief Counseling
